The holidays are coming and that means giving gifts to some of your favorite people. Thanksgiving weekend is when Geek the Halls takes over the Doubletree event space and packs it with dozens of local artists and artisans to sell you amazing fandom gifts for the geeks in your life. It’s free admission, plus there’s free parking for your broom or Muggle automobile.
As always, you will find SPEWW there chatting about our organization and upcoming events, and we’ve got a whole load of new items for stockings and such, including new Satchels of Secrecy (mystery bags), craft kits, Sorting crackers, and more.
We’ll be adding N.E.W.T.-level trivia to our booth this year. You’ll get to roll the big die, which will determine your question, and if you get it correct, you can enter to win 2 general magical tickets to Yule Ball or a family 4 pack to Cauldron Con. We’ve got some other things up our sleeves, too, so make sure to stop by, and pick up some (almost) last-minute gifts for the wizards in your life.
When: Saturday & Sunday November 28-29, 2026, 10am-5pm
Where: DoubleTree by Hilton – 1000 NE Multnomah, Portland
